ECOS is a mineral technology system for the development and local production of low-cement concretes and other mineral construction materials based on qualified local raw materials and the partner’s existing production infrastructure.
4Bricks s.r.o. acts as a technology partner and provides raw-material qualification, technical assessment, laboratory adaptation, application-configuration development, support for pilot and industrial launch, ongoing technology support and change control. Cooperation may be structured through technology licensing or, in selected projects, through a technology partnership model.
Discuss a cooperation model4Bricks scales ECOS through partners with existing production infrastructure. The commercial model is defined individually for each project, taking into account the territory, production site, qualified local raw materials, application configuration and cooperation structure.
An equity stake of up to 34% is neither mandatory nor automatic. The specific structure is determined individually for each project. The ECOS technology core, confidential know-how and related intellectual property rights remain under the control of 4Bricks, subject to applicable rights and the ECOS contractual framework.
ECOS is a controlled mineral technology system for the development and local production of low-cement concretes and other mineral construction materials. It combines the technology core, qualification of local raw materials, functional adaptation, development of specific application configurations, engineering documentation, testing and verification of the required performance.
ECOS is not a single formulation or a ready-made universal product. It is an engineering technology system adapted to specific raw materials, equipment, production sites, applications and required performance characteristics.
4Bricks s.r.o. develops ECOS, manages the technology core, confidential know-how and related intellectual property rights, and provides technology adaptation and implementation support within the agreed contractual framework.
The system includes:
Under the licensing model, the partner receives a contractually agreed right to use ECOS industrially within a defined territory, production site and specific application configurations.
A licence for one application configuration does not automatically grant the right to use other configurations. Licensing also does not transfer ownership of the ECOS technology core, confidential know-how or related intellectual property rights.
For selected projects, 4Bricks may use a deeper technology-partnership model instead of conventional licensing.
Equity participation by 4Bricks is neither mandatory nor automatic. Its availability, size and conditions are determined individually for each project and documented in separate agreements.
The commercial and contractual structure of ECOS is defined individually for each project. It depends on the application configuration, territory, production site, qualified local raw materials, stage of technical validation, scope of engineering support and the selected cooperation model.
The actual sequence and scope of the stages are determined individually. The local partner is responsible for the production site, personnel, equipment, safety, permits, local conformity procedures, actual manufacturing and product sales. 4Bricks is responsible for the agreed scope of ECOS technology adaptation, engineering support and technology control and does not act as the operator of the partner’s production site.
Different application configurations may be developed using the common ECOS technology core. Each configuration is adapted, tested and verified separately, taking into account local raw materials, production equipment, the intended application and the required performance.
The listed areas are examples of potential ECOS application configurations and do not mean that all described solutions are finished, certified or commercially available products. Test results, documentation and rights granted for one configuration do not automatically apply to other configurations.
ECOS technical and regulatory documentation is prepared for a specific application configuration, production site and project stage. The scope of the documentation depends on the tests actually completed, the applicable validation procedures and the agreed level of access.
Provided only for tests that have actually been performed and completed for the relevant application configuration.
Prepared where applicable and after completion of the relevant testing and conformity-assessment procedures.
Prepared after the relevant independent environmental assessment has been completed for the specific configuration.
Working instructions for the implementation and operation of a specific application configuration are provided to the partner within the agreed scope and are linked to the qualified raw materials, production site, equipment and technological conditions of the project.
Confidential formulations, technological ranges, adaptation methods and internal procedures are not published openly. Access to this information is governed by an NDA, a licence agreement or a technology partnership agreement.
Each ECOS application configuration undergoes a separate technical, testing and, where applicable, regulatory assessment according to its intended use, declared performance and the requirements of the relevant jurisdiction. CE marking, CPR, REACH, CLP and other applicable requirements are determined individually for each configuration.
Technical and regulatory documentation may include TDS, SDS, test reports, declarations, conformity documents and, where applicable, LCA/EPD materials. The specific documentation package depends on the application configuration, project stage and procedures actually completed.
4Bricks cooperates with construction materials manufacturers and other selected partners, adapting the ECOS technology system to qualified local raw materials, the partner’s existing production infrastructure and the specific application configuration.
