4Bricks / ECOS Technology Group

ECOS

A mineral technology system for the local production of construction materials based on qualified regional raw materials and the partner’s existing production infrastructure.

The manufacturer already has the plant, team and market. 4Bricks provides the ECOS technology, raw-material qualification, adaptation, implementation and technology control — through licensing or technology partnership.

ℹ About the Company
4Bricks s.r.o. · ECOS Technology Group

4Bricks s.r.o. is a technology company that develops and protects the ECOS mineral technology system. We do not build our own network of plants and do not sell ready-made construction mixes as our core product. Our role is to connect ECOS technology with the existing production infrastructure, local raw materials, and the manufacturing partner’s market.

What ECOS Is
ECOS is a managed mineral technology system. It brings together a technology core, qualified local raw materials, functional adaptation, a specific application configuration, and confirmation of the required performance characteristics. Each configuration is developed and validated separately.
How We Work
Cooperation is built on two basic models: technology licensing or a technology partnership. Depending on the project, 4Bricks qualifies the raw materials and the production site, adapts the selected ECOS configuration, supports validation and industrial implementation, and after launch provides technology support and change control.
Who It Is For
The primary partner of 4Bricks is an existing manufacturer of construction materials that already has a production site, equipment, staff, raw-material supply relationships, logistics, sales channels, and knowledge of the local market. ECOS adds the technological foundation for developing and locally producing new mineral construction materials without building an entire technology system from scratch.

What is ECOS?

ECOS is a managed mineral technology system for the development and local production of construction materials based on qualified regional raw materials. The system combines the ECOS technological core, local mineral components, functional adaptation, a specific application configuration and confirmation of the required performance characteristics.

ECOS is not a single universal formula or a single finished product. For each manufacturing partner, the raw-material characteristics, site specifics, production conditions and selected application are taken into account. After raw-material qualification, the specific configuration is adapted, verified and prepared for industrial implementation.

This approach makes it possible to use one technology architecture for different application configurations, while each specific configuration is developed and confirmed separately.

The ECOS technological core and a substantial part of the adaptation methods are protected as confidential know-how. Public materials describe the principles and architecture of the system without disclosing formulations, process ranges, internal methods or other confidential parameters.

  • Localisation — adaptation of the technology to qualified raw materials and the production conditions of a specific site.
  • Resource efficiency — the possibility of using local and secondary mineral components in specific configurations.
  • Verifiability — each application configuration undergoes its own testing and performance-confirmation programme before industrial launch.

4Bricks s.r.o. develops, protects and adapts ECOS for existing manufacturers of construction materials, using a technology-licensing or technology-partnership model depending on the specific project.

Application Configuration
Specific application configuration
A solution for a defined material, raw-material base, production site and set of technical requirements.
Verified Performance
Verifiable performance
The performance of each configuration is tested and documented separately according to its intended use and implementation stage.

One technology platform may support multiple application configurations, but the results of one configuration do not automatically apply to other applications, raw-material bases or production sites.

ECOS COMMERCIAL MODEL

Two ways to work with 4Bricks

The manufacturing partner retains its production site, team, market and operations. 4Bricks provides the ECOS technology system, adaptation, implementation, know-how and technology control. The cooperation model is selected according to the market, project, risks and economics.

01
TECHNOLOGY LICENSING

Licensing

The manufacturer receives an agreed right to use ECOS technology for a defined territory, production site and specific application configuration.

Possible model structure
  • raw-material qualification and technology adaptation;
  • development of the application configuration;
  • implementation at the partner’s production site;
  • initial licence payment;
  • ongoing technology fee / TSF / royalty;
  • additional rights under separate agreement.
ECOS, its technological core and confidential know-how remain under the control of 4Bricks within the scope of applicable rights and the ECOS contractual architecture.
02
TECHNOLOGY PARTNERSHIP

Technology Partnership

In selected projects, 4Bricks may participate not only as a licensor but also as the technology partner of a local project.

POSSIBLE EQUITY PARTICIPATION

APPLICATION SCOPE & TECHNOLOGY PROTECTION

One platform. Different application configurations.

ECOS provides a technological basis for different construction materials, but each use case is treated as a separate application configuration — with its own adaptation, testing and performance verification.

01
Application Configurations

Potential areas of application

The choice of application depends on local raw materials, production equipment, market requirements and the technical qualification programme of the specific project.

Plaster materialsPlaster applications
Masonry mortarsMasonry applications
Adhesive compoundsAdhesive applications
Repair materialsRepair & installation applications
Formed elementsBlocks, bricks & mineral elements
Other applicationsAfter separate technical qualification
Important: The presence of an application in the ECOS technology architecture does not mean that the corresponding configuration has already been tested or is ready for industrial launch. Each configuration is qualified separately.
02
IP & CONTROLLED KNOW-HOW

The technology remains under the control of 4Bricks

ECOS is protected by a combination of registered rights, patent strategy, confidential documentation and closed technological know-how.

Partner Value

What ECOS gives the manufacturing partner

ECOS complements the existing production infrastructure with a technology system that is adapted to local raw materials, equipment, the specific application and the required performance.

Local Adaptation

Local raw materials instead of a universal formula

ECOS does not transfer one fixed composition from country to country. For each project, available mineral components are qualified, after which the application configuration is adapted to the raw materials, production site and required performance properties.

🔬
Verification

Verifiable performance

Each application configuration follows its own testing and technical-assessment programme. Results from one configuration are not transferred automatically to others.

🏭
Existing Infrastructure

Integration into the partner’s production

Scaling is built around partners’ existing production sites, not around 4Bricks building its own network of plants.

Resource Efficiency

Optimisation of the material base

The system can work with qualified regional raw materials and may reduce dependence on conventional cement. Actual figures depend on the specific application configuration.

Commercial Flexibility

Two cooperation models

A project may proceed through technology licensing or, in selected cases, through a technology partnership. The commercial structure is defined separately for each project.

🔒
Controlled Know-How

A protected technology system

Key formulations, process ranges, adaptation methods and internal procedures remain under 4Bricks control. The manufacturing partner receives only the agreed scope of use rights, technical information and support — under the specific licence or technology partnership.

The regulatory path is defined by the specific application.

Applicable standards, testing, conformity procedures and documentation are determined separately for each application configuration, market and production site.
