ℹ Company Brief
4Bricks s.r.o. · ECOS Technology Group

4Bricks s.r.o. is not positioned as an ordinary commodity manufacturer of construction materials. The primary role of the company is to develop, protect, license and integrate ECOS technology into the production processes of industrial partners. In selected formats, 4Bricks may also organise pilot, manufactory or controlled production of ECOS-based materials for technology demonstration, validation, first commercial batches and preparation of partner-based industrial implementation.

What is ECOS
An engineering platform for low-carbon mineral construction technologies. Enables regional product development, use of locally available raw materials and reduced dependence on clinker cement. The technological core of ECOS is protected as know-how. Partners receive only those modules and parameters required for the agreed implementation format.
How we work
We work through several formats: technology licensing; integration of ECOS into existing partner production lines; production and OEM licences; pilot and manufactory production; controlled technology transfer; ongoing technical support and quality control. The financial model may include an upfront licence fee, a regular technology fee, technical support terms and separate parameters of production implementation.
For whom
ECOS is intended for: existing dry mix producers; manufacturers of bricks, blocks, paving elements and mineral products; regional production companies; construction groups and developers with their own production needs; partners for OEM / contract and pilot manufacturing. Commercial, territorial and production terms are defined individually for each project.
ECOS DRY MIX — a single-component dry construction mix with reduced cement content based on the ECOS low-carbon mineral technology. It is not cement, a cementitious binder or a cement substitute.

What is ECOS?

ECOS (Economical Composite Optimized System) is an engineering technology platform for mineral construction materials with reduced clinker dependency. ECOS is designed for practical production implementation. The platform may be integrated into existing partner production processes or used within separate production, OEM, pilot and manufactory models.

The core technological know-how of ECOS remains protected. Partners receive only those documents, technology modules and parameters required for the agreed implementation format.

The platform combines mineral material design, controlled formulation logic, production protocols, application methods and quality-control standards.

The technical core of ECOS is protected as know-how. Public materials describe the functional principles of the platform without disclosing detailed formulations, process parameters or controlled components.

  • Decarbonization — reduction of clinker dependency and optimization of mineral composition.
  • Circular Economy — use of secondary mineral resources and industrial by-products.
  • Industrial Validation — development, testing and preparation of ECOS-based materials with consideration of ČSN, CPR, ESPR, production integration and scalable B2B implementation.

ECOS is developed, protected and licensed by 4Bricks s.r.o. for industrial partners, construction material producers and regional implementation projects.

ECOS Licensing Path

  1. NDA / initial discussion
  2. Definition of product, territory and production format
  3. Selection of model: integration / production licence / OEM / pilot production
  4. Licence agreement
  5. Technology transfer agreement
  6. Technology transfer protocol
  7. Pilot, manufactory or industrial implementation
  8. Ongoing technical support and quality control

First applied and production direction of ECOS

The first applied direction of the ECOS technology platform is dry construction mixes for masonry, plastering and repair applications.

This direction is intended for several implementation formats: integration into existing dry mix production lines; production licence; OEM / contract manufacturing; pilot batches; manufactory production; subsequent industrial scaling through approved partners.

Note: the specific product version, application scope, regulatory status and production format are defined separately for each project. Hyper-pressed products and other ECOS-based formats are progressing through subsequent engineering and production development stages.

🔒 Intellectual Property Protection

The ECOS technology platform is protected through a multi-layer intellectual property strategy.

  • Registered utility model protection
  • Technical documentation
  • Confidential know-how
  • ECOS technology registry
  • Controlled licensing documentation
  • Future patent and industrial property filings where applicable

Public materials do not disclose detailed formulations, protected process parameters or controlled technology components.

Certification and Regulatory Status

The regulatory status of ECOS-based materials is determined by the specific product version, application scope, production site and selected implementation model: integration into existing production, production licence, OEM, pilot or manufactory production. Official documents are provided only for those products and versions for which the relevant testing and validation procedures have been completed.

ECOS Dry Mix

The product is undergoing national certification in the Czech Republic in accordance with Government Regulation No. 163/2002 Sb. as a general construction material.

  • Category: dry construction mixture
  • Regulatory framework: 163/2002 Sb.
  • ČSN EN 998-1 / EN 998-2 — applicable standards for masonry and plastering mortars
  • Status: official laboratory testing in progress

ECOS Hyper Press

The hyper-pressed product segment is designed to comply with EN 771-3 (concrete masonry units).

  • Regulatory framework: EN 771-3
  • CE marking — possible upon completion of conformity assessment procedures
  • Status: regulatory validation and laboratory testing in progress

Full documentation package (TDS, DoP, test reports, SDS) is provided upon official request within agreed cooperation.

ECOS as an engineering matrix

ECOS is not a single material and not a product line. It is an engineering system that serves as a foundation for multiple classes of next-generation construction materials.

  • Hyper-pressed construction products
  • Masonry and installation mixes
  • Plastering systems
  • Repair and leveling compounds
  • Special mineral composites

Different material classes are currently at different stages of development, testing, and regulatory validation.

ECOS Architecture: Platform → Segments → Products

ECOS is an engineering and technology platform that serves as the foundation for product segments and specific materials.

📎 Documentation & Technical Materials

Technical, regulatory and validation materials are provided upon official request or within agreed cooperation. The scope of documentation depends on the specific product version, validation stage, jurisdiction, production site and selected implementation format. Compliance documents are provided only for those products and versions of ECOS for which the relevant testing, verification or regulatory procedures have been completed.

Documentation may include, depending on the product version and validation stage:
